R657-53-16: This section requires a Reptile and Amphibian Education Course before anyone imports, collects, or possesses a species having a total possession limit of “Expanded.” I do not see a definition for Expanded and this new course also seems to apply to both native and non-native species. In addition, several other vertebrate species have occurred in Utah during recent times, but no longer occur in the state. You need a herpetology collection permit (or "collection permit" for short) in order to collect many species of reptiles and amphibians from the wild in Utah. I know that we're not going to see the whole state in a week but any suggestions of cool places would be welcome.
