We loved the cozy atmosphere of this historic Oxford pub. However, the app doesn't have the flexibility to amend any orders, nor does it have the full menu.
It derives from ancient tiles in Temple church, said to have represented an emblem used by the Knights Templar.
The Lamb & Flag Inn is a grade two listed pub situated on the side of the beautiful Blackdown Hills, 5 miles from Taunton.
Food was very nice and generous portions. Four members of staff including man at the door walked past us several times, we waited and waited no one came. The bar team advised us it's defo there as they have it behind the bar, and we just need to order it on the app.

The Lamb and Flags kitchen is expertly operated and run by head Chef Matt Dean, who has assembled an amazing team of talented chefs and cooks who are busy creating menus worthy of the stunning Black Downs countryside and the beautiful pub/resturant where it is situated.
In the heart of the fens are the Ouse washes with the Welney Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust only half mile away.

After 45mnutes frustratingly trying to download an app, order and pay and asking 3 times for help which never happened we gave up and left. Just had a takeaway from this wonderful pub, I had the Dirty Burger with the Triple Cooked Chips.......WOW, the burger performed a lambada with my tastebuds and the chips were cooked to absolute perfection, service was 10/10 and I cannot fault the staff.
