Trust me, that's not fun to swim in that temperature water without a thick wetsuit. For the most part, no wetsuit needed unless you prefer to have a wetsuit on. It's pretty humid during the summer at Crater Lake National Park, so a dip in the waters after the strenuous 1-2 hour hike is just perfect as it will cool you down for the remainder of your time outdoors.
