Now the food. some fried calamari....it was a small amount for the price , but it held us while we waited...we sat , and sat, until about 7:13 pm i said they forgot about us...they apologized and offered to seat us at, yes, you guessed it...a high top table( in a corner , no less)... i was livid and told the manager as much...the kicker to this was the manager didnt even try to make it right...gave us a half assed apology and then put it on us, saying we shouldve made reservations...in my opinion, a real uncool move...well, im never going back there, and i suggest no one else go there either...lousy management...and from the look of the calamari we were served , pricy with small portions...dont waste ur time. We asked if mine would be comped be it was a third choice....she was waiting for him to come out of his office. I finally ended up with an old fashioned, and that was fine. Food came, orders perfect........THEN there was a wait for the check. Taphouse. I'd appreciate a call back, was away after our visit or I would have addressed the visit earlier.
