I average 140bpm on Lionheart, but my Vivoactive during the same session reports average 120ish, which I know is more accurate.
The F45 Lionheart reports that my heart rate does not go above 156 bpm even though I know when running I often sit at 160+ quite comfortably and trust me in some sessions I must be at my VO2 max! In any case, an absolute number of calories is not that important, knowing that you have burned more today and how much more is useful enough. I like the analytics, good measure of progress but would like to see more graph and charting options provided.
I like being able to compete within the session, seeing mine and others’ readings - great idea! My lionheart isn't showing up anymore on the TV.

The owner of the studio will not refund me, he openly admits that these HRM are not up to scratch and has 30-60 monitors that he cannot sell, so he will not refund.
F45 Training is the fastest growing fitness franchise in the world with over 1,000 studios in 36 countries. Like others have said (just like scales), the figure being exact isn't as important as being able to see the changes over time. Worked perfectly for 8 workouts then stopped connecting at the studio or to my iPhone. ProductReview.com.au has affiliate partnerships. I believe that Lionheart includes active calories and the calories you burn by just being alive. They can offer to graph a range of dates, graph your overall progress over time, or even just summarise the results you have. The issue however that bothered me the most was that this HRM is a random numbers generator when it came to calories.
I got this band after signed off with the challenge. Over-rated and over-priced but handy in session, Doesn't work very well but keeps sessions competitive.
Doesn’t work. How do I change my name to a nickname that shows on the tv screen in the studio? Its good to see and track your efforts during your workout. Any thoughts on which could be more accurate? You could still earn points within the app too similar to other fitness studio apps. F45 Life is the one App you need to track your training progress and is now available for iPhone . My F45 LionHeart HRM is still sitting brand new in the box because I don't like just receiving an email with a line graph - please offer an app with awesome capabilities and I will jump on switching over to your HRM! My peek heart rate should be about 167. Forced to come up with different ways to try and get the app & my lionheart to read my workouts correctly, but it’s almost too frustrating to use. Stick to your Garmin or Fitbit.
I've even put in a new battery. Many times it registers and shows activity at the studio, but they are unable to capture the report. Purchased in June 2020 at F45 Macquarie park for A$80.00. Companies can't alter or remove reviews from ProductReview.com.au. Through this app I can name my worko... ut so I know which workout I completed (ex: F45 Athletica) and I can rate it. When it works its ok but the stupid thing is, you need to log in to use it and then you get an email with your results. I did numerous classes with the LionHeart monitor and then compared the same classes with my Garmin and a Fitbit. Terrible. I was looking for info on this as I just used my LionHeart today for the first time today; I have been training with F45 for about 2 months now or just under and always used my Fitbit Ionic to track my HR/Calorie burn etc and have been for a long time.
